Smiles for New Year

Happy New Year everyone! I was trying to erase the negative thought that 2013 might not be so pleasant because of the number '13' attached to it, but contrary to all this bothering thought, my year didn't start that bad at all. When I was out to celebrate the New Year's, I had a quick peek on my Twitter account and found out that I was one of the Bloggers Editor's Picks of the Day. Couldn't be happier!
And just this morning, my long awaited passport and biometric application finally arrived. Seven months ago (yea, that's how long I waited for it), I went to Home Office to have my name changed. I wasn't able to do it right after our marriage because we have to gather other requirements for the application. So for those months, I got no ID, which means I can't apply for provisional driving license, can't take the exams necessary for my next visa application, I can't travel outside the country. Basically, I can't do anything until I got my papers back. For now, I'm just glad I got them back then I can move on with my life. Not bad to start the new year, eh?
